Cajun Blackened Shrimp
Good cajun shrimp. Smaller shrimp are better IMO. Makes four servings, 170cal/ea.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 2 cloves Crushed Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Dried Basil or Oregano
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Recipe
Mix shrimp, oil, and spices in a medium bowl
Optionally cover and marinate in the fridge for 24 hours
Heat a large skillet on medium-high for two minutes
Add a light layer of oil
Cook shrimp in batches for about 2 minutes per side
